Santa Parade

santa parade
A non-motorized parade brings Santa in a horse-drawn carriage to the library where he hands out a gift sack to each child. Gift sack contains a book, a small toy and candy. Cider and cookies are served to parents and children. The parade will begin at the west end of Capitan and proceed down Smokey Bear Blvd. ending at Capitan Public Library.

Come one, come all - pull a wagon, dress up your goats, ride your horse. Come join in the fun! This is a non-motorized event suited to horse drawn vehicles, horseback and walking or marching participants. No cars, trucks, ATVs, 4-wheelers or motorcycles, please. Parade entry forms are available at Capitan Public Library. The Library provides this event each year to thank Capitan and surrounding communities for their continued support. you goes to Entertainment will be provided by Cindy Foglesong and students and refreshments will be served.
