Here are some food assistance programs in

Lincoln County amid coronavirus pandemic

The Lincoln County Food Bank:138 Service Road (OLD Ruidoso Bus Station), is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12 to 4 p.m.  

They provide qualified clients with a food box once every 30 days. No income level requirements, but proof of Lincoln County residency required (such as driver’s license or utility bill showing residence address is needed).

Capitan Mobile Food Pantry: Lincoln County Fairgrounds, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the 1st Thursday of each month open to all residents of Lincoln County.  An annual information form is required to be filled out.

Capitan Food Bank at Trinity Southern Baptist Church: Hwy 48. 

Food pickup is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays (not including the 1st Thursday of the month). Services are for Capitan residents only.

Capitan Church of Christ: 420 Lincoln Avenue.

Clients are asked to call ahead of time to arrange a meeting to practice safe, social distancing at 575- 354-9015.

Angus Food Bank

On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month Angus Church hands out boxes of food to anyone in need as a part of our food bank ministry. Distribution is held in the gymnasium at the back of the church building. Angus is able to do this by partnering with Road Runner Food Bank.
